Summer Mission Recap!

Well, it’s finally here.. the end of our Summer mission!  The 709th Trans Company has been working so hard and I am so proud of them!

This year we had 46 soldiers trained in this joint forces humanitarian mission, here is just one group of them!

We trained on our Mission Essential Task List by transporting cargo and equipment from Bethel, Alaska to Mertarvik to support the Marine Reserve Engineers in rebuilding a remote village.

Both Load On/Load Off and Roll On/Roll Off cargo operations were done!

There is nothing better than knowing that your unit is having a positive impact on the lives of fellow Americans.  It is sometimes rare for an Army Reserve unit to have a real life mission to train on that improves the lives of fellow citizens.

Congratulations on another great year 709th!
